Sea Scape cottage is located at the far end of Anglesey just a few miles from the Ferry port of Holyhead. Holyhead is what it is and has limited attraction save for the retail park on the outskirts which had all the outlets to enable a full range of shopping of provisions, clothes, gifts, etc. Just a few miles out of Holyhead on the old A5 road is Penrhos nature park which is worth a visit for the forest walks and an expansive beach. Further along the A5 (about a mile along the bay) is Enochs' fish and chips. Treardur Bay about a 1 1/2 miles from the cottage is a nice little sea-side town with the usual shops, cafes, etc. Other attractions such as Newborough Warren and Beaumaris require a drive to the other end of the island. There are plenty of walks around the headland where the cottage is situated and also plenty of rocky inlets. Sea Kayaking is a favourite pass-time along with other boat trips and a visit to the South Stack visitor centre and Lighthouse if you are feeling fit.
