The appealing village of Raglan, 8 miles, has a castle, pubs, farm shop, gliding club and award-winning butcher. The area is in the heart of historic and beautiful county of Monmouthshire, with its myriad attractions and eateries. Tintern Abbey, 14 miles, is definitely a must see as is the market town of Abergavenny, 9 miles, which hosts the famous food festival in September each year. There is also a number of pub and eateries. Golf courses abound and there is excellent walking in the Brecon Beacons, Offa’s Dyke, Wye and Usk Valley. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
