Sleepy Hollow is a detached property overlooking the South Wales coast and just a few minute’s walk from the popular beach itself. It has everything you need on your doorstep and is the perfect place to enjoy a break any time of year. Set in the beautiful coastal village of Ogmore-by-Sea, lying between Southerndown and Porthcawl in the Vale of Glamorgan. The property is perfect for a family break or a group of friends to enjoy the local surfing opportunities. The back garden has a patio and seating area with bench and a barbecue.
This four bedroom property benefits from the most wonderful sea views. You enter the property into a large hallway with parquet flooring. On the ground floor there is a large living/dining room with patio doors leading to a small patio area which overlooks the sea. The kitchen is off the hallway on the ground floor and has all the equipment you could need for a relaxing holiday. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and amazing views overlooking the sea.
Ogmore Castle is approximately a 2 mile drive or walk away, or visit the remains of Dunraven Castle and the walled garden in Southerndown. The beautiful town of Cowbridge is a short drive with a range of independent gift shops and boutiques. Cardiff city is slightly further away, about 24 miles which is famous for its landmarks such as Cardiff Castle, Millennium Stadium, St Davids Shopping Centre and also has numerous award winning restaurants where you can experience delicious fine dining. Another attraction is the Royal Mint Experience in Llantrisant which is only a 30 minute drive away and is a fascinating exploration of the coins in our pockets. The coastal path offers breathtaking scenery and is a wonderful way to explore the beautiful countryside. Ogmore-by-Sea walk takes you along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast designated for its unique geology and wildlife.

The property is located between Cardiff and Swansea, Swansea being 40 minutes away with The Gower Peninsula a short drive from Swansea. In Bridgend you will find the McArthurGlen designer outlet for some retail therapy. For alternative days out, the village of Merthyr Mawr is nearby, with Merthyr Mawr Sand Dunes worth a visit. The dunes have been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and the largest dune at the site, known as The Big Dipper, is the second largest of its kind in Europe, measuring around 200ft high. There is also golf and horse riding available nearby. Beach ¼ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile. Ground Floor.
